It was in June 1976 that Bishop Stephen Bradley dedicated Holy Trinity Church.

At that stage, under the direction of Ken Terhoven and his hard working Council, an old dry cleaning business was purchased for R25 000 which was slowly renovated into premises suitable for Church activities

This was the climax of some hard work put in by the Savy family and the Rev. Ernie and Mrs Mary Jump in the earlier years. Since then, by the grace of God, our Church has grown slowly but steadily. With the increasing congregation there has been a tremendous amount of building activity: the Church has been enlarged four times, an administrative block, a Sunday-School complex and three halls have also been built. In April 1978 our first daughter Church was established in Hilton.

In June 1986 we dedicated our second daughter Church in Sweetwaters, a large area on the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg. Our third daughter church was established in February 1986 in Greytown
January 1987 saw the commencement of Trinity Academy, an equipping and training centre for God's people.
