Jeremy & Anne

Kammies Family Profile

Jeremy was born and raised in Cape Town and Anne was raised on a farm near Pietermaritzburg, KZN. They both accepted the Lord in their early twenties, and then joined the mission organization called OM. Both served for 2 years on the OM Ship Logos 2. It was during this time that they first met each other in Chile, South America. By the end of the 2 years they knew that God had called them to serve Him together as a married couple. They returned to South Africa where they were married and went to Bible College for 2 years in Cape Town. After Bible College, in 1996, they joined the mission organization WEC (Worldwide Evangelization for Christ). After training, they served in Liberia, West Africa for 6 years, where they were involved with Bible teaching and establishing a Bible school for the training of Liberian pastors. In 2003 they evacuated from Liberia during the civil war, and returned to Durban.

God has blessed Jeremy and Anne with two children; Kirsty (age 12) and Luke (8).

They are now based at the WEC Headquarters in Durban where they serve as the National Directors for WEC South Africa. They are responsible for the oversight of 5 ministry teams within SA, as well as the overseas workers who have been sent out from SA to work in various countries of the world.

WEC is an international mission organization, with approximately 2000 workers from over 50 nationalities, working in about 75 different countries. Our aim is reaching the unevangelized with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and our motto is: “If Jesus Christ be God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him.” (C.T.Studd.)
